Un génial scientifique crée un robot humanoïde, mais son rival cupide et rusé décide de l'empoisonner pour s'en approprier le secret. Ses sbires kidnappent régulièrement un gorille élevé en captivité du zoo pour lui prêter main-forte dans ses machinations
